As a Health Science major at UD, you'll embark on a journey toward a healthcare or medical profession. You'll engage in specialized studies within your chosen concentration, selecting from three distinct pathways:
Integrative Physiology: Designed for those pursuing professional education in fields like Physician Assistant studies, Medical School, or other graduate programs in Biosciences and Health Sciences.
Exercise & Movement Science: Tailored for students aiming for careers in Physical Therapy, Orthotics and Prosthetics, Athletic Training, or similar disciplines.
Occupational & Behavioral Studies: Ideal for those interested in Occupational Therapy, Behavior Analysis, or accelerated Nursing programs.
Each concentration generally necessitates further education at either the graduate or doctoral level following undergraduate studies. Regardless of your chosen path, you'll gain practical, real-world experience through community physical education initiatives, student organizations, and collaborative research with faculty and fellow students.
