Pursuing a UD World Language Education degree equips you with the expertise and abilities to address the demands of our evolving global society while training future generations to follow suit. Graduates will qualify to instruct French, German, or Spanish to learners from Pre-K through 12th grade. Additionally, you'll obtain a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) certification. The program provides access to exceptional facilities including a STEM laboratory and Curriculum Materials Center.

From your first year onward, you'll engage in classroom observations and practical experiences that extend through your second and third years. The program offers over 600 hours of field placement in area schools—double Ohio's mandated requirement. Your final year culminates in a student teaching internship, a full-time immersive experience with guidance and assessment to foster your professional growth as an educator.
