Students dive into a rigorous academic program blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on application. The journey starts in the classroom with fundamental biology concepts, then rapidly transitions to exciting practical work - from identifying antibiotic-producing microorganisms to wetland explorations, behavioral neuroscience investigations, live physiological data analysis with peers, or evolutionary pattern studies using fruit flies.
Numerous avenues exist for applying biological knowledge, starting with selecting a specialization. The biology program offers two focused tracks: biomedical sciences or environmental/ecological studies.
