The University of Connecticut (UConn) provides one of the globe's inaugural STEM-certified Master's (MS) programs in Financial Technology (FinTech), along with a FinTech Graduate Certificate and an Accelerated FinTech Program available both online and on-campus. UConn's 36-credit MS in FinTech degree, accelerated track, and 12-credit graduate certificate options are delivered online or at their Hartford and Stamford, Connecticut locations. These innovative FinTech graduate programs combine analytical, technological, and business curriculum. Designed for international learners, these programs equip students to pioneer advancements across Finance, Banking, InsurTech, MedTech, RegTech, and Real Estate Technology sectors.

The GMAT and/or GRE is not required for admission. If you have already taken the exam, the official standardized test scores can be submitted to UConn electronically.
We require a personal essay for the MS FinTech program. The essay prompt is in the application itself. You may log in and out of your application as many times as you need to in order to complete your application
For application review purposes, we only require an unofficial copy of your transcript. If admitted, we will then need your official transcript sent directly from your institution.

A cumulative GPA for their most recent degree of 3.0 or higher for the entire degree
Minimum overall scores of 79 (Internet-based test – iBT/ iBT Home Edition), 550 (Old Paper-based test – PBT) or 22/30 on each of the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections (''New'' Paper-based test- PBT) or higher on the TOEFL test. (TOEFL Essentials is not accepted.)
