EEB provides Master of Science and Doctoral programs, with full funding available for research-focused graduate students. We welcome applicants holding bachelor's or master's degrees in any biological discipline who wish to specialize in ecology and evolutionary biology. Candidates with non-traditional academic backgrounds demonstrating exceptional promise and dedication to biological studies are also encouraged to apply. Presently, approximately 55 graduate students from across the United States, Central America, Asia, and Europe are enrolled in our three graduate degree programs.

GRE scores are not required, and will not be considered by the Admissions Committee
Curriculum Vitae. The format of your CV is up to you, and you should not worry about a strict one-page length limit, often advocated for resumes.
Transcripts. Unofficial versions can be submitted online, if admitted, you will be required to submit official copies to the Graduate School. It is not necessary to submit official copies at this stage.
Personal essay. Rather than a traditional essay, you will be asked to respond to the following prompts. Provide what information you can for each and note that the Admissions Committee recognizes that not everyone will have detailed answers to every question. Aim to be concise in your responses, and write ''not applicable'' when appropriate. Suggested word counts are guidelines, but the application system will not accept unlimited responses.
You must hold a baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university.
A cumulative GPA for their most recent degree of 3.0 or higher for the entire degree
Minimum overall scores of 79 (Internet-based test – iBT/ iBT Home Edition), 550 (Old Paper-based test – PBT) or 22/30 on each of the Listening, Reading, and Writing sections (''New'' Paper-based test- PBT) or higher on the TOEFL test. (TOEFL Essentials is not accepted.)
