CU Denver's Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering caters to students with undergraduate degrees outside engineering. The MEng in Civil Engineering at CU Denver is designed for those holding non-engineering bachelor's degrees. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the curriculum delivers essential engineering fundamentals while encouraging students to broaden their education with complementary coursework.
Our graduate programs provide extensive hands-on research opportunities. The civil engineering graduate curriculum accommodates both full-time and part-time students seeking to develop their expertise in civil engineering and related disciplines. While some students attend full-time, others balance evening classes with full-time employment. Completion time for the MEng program generally ranges from 2-4 years, with most graduate courses scheduled for afternoon or evening sessions.
CU Denver's Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) program features two undergraduate degrees, a Construction Management minor open to all majors, multiple graduate degrees, and two graduate certificates. Situated in downtown Denver's vibrant construction hub, the program maintains excellent graduate employment rates. Designed for working professionals, it offers flexible scheduling and interdisciplinary coursework that prepares students for construction industry leadership.
