The Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management equips students to develop as creative, analytical leaders in nonprofit administration and public policy, blending academic concepts with practical application. While preparing for professional growth or career transitions, students explore the interconnected relationships among nonprofit, government, and business sectors. Program graduates learn to operate across these domains, evaluating community requirements, engaging with policy frameworks, and skillfully directing mission-driven organizations for societal impact.
Applicants must hold a baccalaureate or master’s degree from an accredited college or university or demonstrate completion of work equivalent to the baccalaureate or master’s degree given at CU Denver. Students must have an undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 or better (“A” is equal to 4.0) or a 3.00 or better GPA in twelve (12) credit hours or more of a partially completed graduate level master’s degree program.
Minimum TOEFL IBT Total Score: 79; TOEFL Sub scores (Reading: 18, Listening: 17, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17).
Minimum IELTS Overall Band Score: 6.5, IELTS Sub scores as 5.5.
Minimum PTE Academic Score Accepted: 58.
