This certification offers insight into how our natural ecosystems are regulated and influenced by interactions among diverse stakeholders, such as legislative bodies, regulatory agencies, judicial systems, governmental organizations, nonprofit groups, private enterprises, and community members. Those pursuing a specialization in Environmental Policy and Management as part of the Master of Public Administration degree must submit an application, enroll in the MPA program through the School of Public Affairs, and fulfill all graduate-level program prerequisites.
Applicants must hold a baccalaureate or master’s degree from an accredited college or university or demonstrate completion of work equivalent to the baccalaureate or master’s degree given at CU Denver. Students must have an undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 or better (“A” is equal to 4.0) or a 3.00 or better GPA in twelve (12) credit hours or more of a partially completed graduate level master’s degree program.
Minimum TOEFL IBT Total Score: 79; TOEFL Sub scores (Reading: 18, Listening: 17, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17).
Minimum IELTS Overall Band Score: 6.5, IELTS Sub scores as 5.5.
Minimum PTE Academic Score Accepted: 58.
