The recording arts program concentrates on modern analog and digital technologies applied in music production, live sound engineering, and multimedia projects (including web platforms, gaming audio, and interactive exhibits). As students develop technical proficiency with various formats and tools, they simultaneously explore the creative and artistic dimensions of technological applications in recording, sound enhancement, composition, and live performances. Applicants selecting the non-audition pathway for the recording arts concentration are exempt from audition requirements during the department's application procedure. This music curriculum equips learners for professional opportunities in commercial performance, audio production, music industry careers, and creative sectors, while also providing foundation for advanced studies at prestigious music institutions. Specifically, the Music & Entertainment Industry Studies (MEIS) department grants a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Music.
