The 5-year combined BA/MS program in Health Economics enables eligible undergraduates to enroll in graduate-level economics courses that apply toward both their bachelor's degree and future master's studies. Upon earning their B.A. in Economics, students may transfer up to 12 previously completed graduate credits toward the M.S. in Health Economics, potentially completing both degrees within five years. Those who choose not to continue with the M.S. program after their bachelor's will maintain all earned undergraduate credentials.
These academic requirements may be periodically updated by the department, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences may approve individual exceptions. Students are encouraged to consult regularly with both their Economics faculty advisors and CLAS Advisor to ensure their study plans meet current standards.
