The LLM program provides students with comprehensive exposure to Colorado Law while ensuring equal access to academic resources, specialized courses, and the broader University of Colorado-Boulder community. Our JD and LLM candidates collaborate in shared learning environments, fostering mutual growth. Colorado Law values the distinctive perspectives and professional histories that each LLM student brings, recognizing how these diverse backgrounds strengthen our academic community and enhance the institution's global scholarly impact. The curriculum offers extensive flexibility, allowing every LLM candidate to tailor their studies to align with individual career aspirations and intellectual pursuits. While the majority of coursework occurs within the law school, students may enhance their legal education by enrolling in graduate-level classes across the university.
Colorado Law maintains its distinguished legacy in international public law through faculty members who lead groundbreaking research, teach specialized courses, and direct initiatives—particularly in human rights advocacy. To expand its academic influence in this domain, the institution is cultivating partnerships with global organizations including the United Nations and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
