Your degree journey starts in early August with intensive pre-term workshops covering statistics and team management, setting the foundation for first-year studies in essential business areas like accounting, finance, marketing, management, and strategy. Leeds students also engage in Career Management and Professional Development programs to gear up for summer internships.
In the second year, you'll tailor your experience by choosing electives that allow deeper dives into key business disciplines—finance, accounting, marketing, management, and systems-operations—along with specialized topics such as entrepreneurship, real estate, sustainability, and global seminars. You can design your own path to degree completion or follow our distinctive MBA Pathways, which suggest curated course combinations and co-curricular programs in Boulder's renowned fields: Natural & Organics, High Growth Ventures, Clean Energy, and Commercial Real Estate. By collaborating with our Academic Centers of Excellence (including the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility, The Deming Center for Entrepreneurship, The Burridge Center for Finance, and the CU Real Estate Center), Leeds MBA students gain focused expertise, industry knowledge, and valuable professional networks in these high-demand sectors.
