The department provides education in various ecological disciplines, including general ecology, paleoecology of early hominins, as well as nutritional, community, and evolutionary ecology. Our research areas encompass human-induced and climate-related impacts on primate behavior and biology, conservation science, primate evolution, dietary studies of humans and other primates, biogeochemical methods for investigating modern and ancient animal diets and habitats, life history research, endocrinology, growth and development studies, and maternal-child health. Note that we do not offer specialized forensic training programs.
