The Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) serves as the foundational degree for clinical audiology, focusing on building clinical skills and applying evidence-based approaches. The 4-year Au.D. curriculum combines academic instruction, hands-on clinical training, and a culminating capstone project. Participants engage in specialized seminars covering hearing science, clinical audiology practices, and research methodologies, culminating in their capstone work.

The program offers clinical research opportunities across diverse settings, from labs to clinics, under the guidance of faculty experts. Research areas span electrophysiology, psychoacoustics, diagnostic methods for all age groups (from infants to elderly patients), cutting-edge hearing aid technology, speech-in-noise perception, assistive devices, cochlear implants, balance disorder evaluation, and hearing loss treatment/rehabilitation strategies.
