Our efforts in numerical and scientific computation focus on creating, evaluating, and implementing computational methods to address mathematical challenges in science and engineering.

Faculty members actively employ these methods across various applications, such as climate simulation, protein structure prediction, and blood circulation modeling.

Successful deployment of these algorithms on advanced computing systems demands expertise spanning mathematics, applied sciences, and multiple computer science disciplines including system architecture, compiler design, and theoretical foundations.
