The European Union Studies Certificate (CEUS) enables CU Boulder undergraduate students across various social science and humanities disciplines to develop specialized knowledge about the European Union. This credential validates a student's proficiency in EU studies, creating pathways for advanced education, internships, and professional opportunities in government, business, and nonprofit organizations.
Administered through the International Affairs Program (IAFS) within the College of Arts and Sciences, CEUS features an interdisciplinary curriculum. Program participants engage in EU-focused coursework that extends beyond standard major requirements, while also taking part in supplementary activities to deepen their comprehension of the EU's evolution, operations, priorities, and trajectory.
