The speech, language, and hearing sciences (SLHS) program covers fundamental human communication concepts, offering students insights into both typical and atypical speech, language, and hearing development. This coursework establishes a robust academic base for those pursuing careers in disability services and education fields. It also prepares students for advanced studies in speech pathology, audiology, or special education at the graduate level.
Graduates of the SLHS program can pursue roles as audiology assistants, speech-language pathology aides, hearing professionals, disability service coordinators, ESL instructors, early childhood experts, literacy specialists, sign language interpreters, social workers, or school psychologists.
Undergraduate international students are students who have completed a secondary school and are pursuing a bachelor’s degree, and who have or will be applying for a temporary U.S. Visa, such as an F-1 or J-1.
