The Russian studies program prepares students to comprehend Russian society, culture, and history while achieving proficiency in the Russian language. Learners explore the evolution of Russian culture from medieval times to today, examining significant artistic and literary movements of the 19th and 20th centuries alongside their connections to political, economic, and social changes. In addition to fundamental language skills, students cultivate advanced abilities to analyze Russian literature, recognize cultural expressions through language, and critically engage with literary works as artistic creations. This curriculum culminates in a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Russian Studies.
Undergraduate international students are students who have completed a secondary school and are pursuing a bachelor’s degree, and who have or will be applying for a temporary U.S. Visa, such as an F-1 or J-1.
