Students pursuing a Master's in Pharmacology receive comprehensive training in pharmacological sciences while gaining insider knowledge of FDA drug approval procedures, covering nonclinical and clinical safety evaluations along with regulatory protocols. The program provides MS candidates with exclusive opportunities to connect with industry professionals via specialized seminars and networking functions. Alumni are well-equipped for careers in biopharmaceutical firms, biotech companies, contract research organizations (CROs), government agencies like the FDA, or advanced studies in medical (MD/DO) or doctoral (Ph.D.) programs. The MS in Pharmacology features both a 10-month non-thesis track and a 2-year thesis option. Participants engage in rigorous pharmacology coursework supplemented by specialized studies in Drug Discovery, Safety Pharmacology, and Drug Toxicology.
