CCM's Master of Music in Organ program provides advanced organ students with the chance to refine their technical skills, artistry, and knowledge in Cincinnati, a thriving cultural hub celebrated for its arts scene. Students benefit from access to seven on-campus pipe organs and numerous exceptional regional instruments, learning from and collaborating with distinguished musicians in top-tier facilities.
MM Organ candidates enhance their performance skills through weekly one-on-one lessons with faculty mentors, involvement in chamber ensembles, and recital performances. The curriculum balances practical training with academic rigor, including music theory, music history, and diverse electives. Our renowned faculty provide personalized guidance and performance opportunities across the tri-state area and internationally. The program also encourages hands-on experience through church internship programs.
CCM's distinguished faculty emphasize both classical organ literature and contemporary experimental works. Students gain extensive performance experience with regional arts organizations, churches, and the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, preparing them for careers in sacred music, private instruction, and concert performance. Many graduates pursue further advanced studies after completing the program.
