Today's aerospace systems grow more complex with technological progress. Effective, reliable, and eco-conscious aerospace engineering demands seamless integration of numerous interconnected processes and systems. Covering both aeronautics and astronautics, UC's aerospace engineering program equips students to evaluate, create, and deploy aerospace solutions for future pioneers.
The Master of Engineering (MEng) program offers a graduate-level qualification emphasizing practical engineering applications, specifically designed for working professionals. Instead of concluding with research and a thesis, the MEng curriculum develops practical skills and knowledge that directly improve a professional's technical contributions. The distinction between the conventional Master of Science and the MEng lies not in academic difficulty or capability gaps, but in the program's practical orientation.
This advanced program enables students to broaden their knowledge and technical proficiency. Depending on individual goals, the degree can either deepen engineering practice expertise or be tailored for interdisciplinary expansion. In our fast-evolving technological landscape, industries increasingly require adaptable, highly skilled engineering professionals. The practice-driven MEng program directly addresses this industry demand.
Though students have a two-year completion window, the entire program can be finished within a single year.
