The Graduate Certificate for Spanish and French Educators is designed for high school teachers who need certification to instruct dual credit (college and high school) classes in their schools. This program equips educators with the mandatory 18 graduate credit hours in either Spanish or French studies.
To earn this certificate, participants must finish four evening courses in Applied Linguistics, literature, or film during the academic year, plus a 2-credit internship in Spanish or French arranged with the Director of Graduate Studies. Most students can fulfill all certificate requirements within one year.
