The Department of Management looks for PhD applicants who are enthusiastic about studying how individual, team, corporate, and cross-organizational dynamics influence the leadership of sophisticated enterprises. Our doctoral candidates build extensive expertise across management disciplines such as organizational psychology, talent management, and corporate strategy, ultimately equipping them for rewarding academic careers in higher education.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for all applicants whose native language is other than English. Official scores from the Educational Testing Service must be submitted before an admissions decision can be made. Copies of test scores are not acceptable. Presently, the minimum TOEFL score acceptable for graduate work in the College of Business is 100 internet-based (250 computer-based or 600 paper-based). The average TOEFL score for doctoral students is 111 internet- based (273 computer-based or 640 paper-based).
