As a Bachelor of Science student in Civil Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, you will acquire the essential abilities to design, build, restore, and enhance the country's infrastructure. First-year applicants (sometimes referred to as freshman) are students who have completed high school and have not earned college course credit since graduating.
Freshmen applying to this program should also have completed the following college preparatory subjects: English (4 units); Mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and either pre-calculus or calculus (4 units); Science, including Chemistry and Physics (3 units); Social sciences (3 units); Electives (3 units).
English test score requirements: ELS - 112 Graduation; IELTS - 6.5 Overall minimum of 6.0 on speaking, minimum 5.5 on each section; PTE - 53; TOEFL - 79 iBT minimum of 20 on speaking, minimum of 15 on each section; Cambridge - 176 minimum, Recommended exam: C1 Advanced.
