This field examines typical speech, language, and hearing development while teaching methods to assess and address communication difficulties across all ages.

UC Clermont College's Associate of Science program readies students for transfer into the University of Cincinnati's Bachelor's program in Speech Language Hearing Sciences through the College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS).

Students may complete the initial two years of the Speech Language Hearing Sciences curriculum at UC Clermont College, with the remaining coursework to be finished at UC's Uptown Campus or through a combination of Clermont and Uptown locations.

Qualification Requirements

This program is open to all students with a high school diploma or GED and the desire to succeed in college. Although admission is open, students accepted into the program must meet the academic standards of the program to advance to upper levels of study.

As a first-year student, you will need to take an English and mathematics placement test if you have not obtained the minimum ACT/SAT score required for exemption.
Proof of English Ability Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Duolingo: 100 overall, 100 Production score, 100 Conversation
TOEFL: 79 iBT, 15 sub-score, 20 - writing, 20 - speaking
Cambridge: 176, recommended exam - C1 Advanced
