Employing cutting-edge molecular, neurophysiological, and behavioral methods, we explore how the brain interprets sensory data and generates suitable motor responses, while studying the dynamic relationship between sensory input and motor output. Our research also investigates the formation and evolutionary roots of the neocortex.
