To keep medical school curricula dynamic and adaptable to scientific and societal shifts, it's crucial to regularly evaluate our teaching approaches. With this mindset, we launched the Pritzker Initiative in 2005, defining core principles for future medical education. These guiding principles include: Promoting active learning methods, Encouraging interdisciplinary integration where beneficial, Mandating scholarly research projects for all students. In subsequent years, both faculty and students have rigorously assessed our courses and clinical rotations, pinpointing areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement while exploring innovative teaching methods that complement our biomedical strengths. These continuous refinements culminated in the inaugural phase of the Pritzker Initiative's implementation starting August 2009, with gradual rollout through 2012.
