The minimum required score for the TOEFL is 104 overall, with 4 sub scores of 26 each. Minimum required scores in the IELTS are an overall score of 7, with sub scores of 7 each. (Note: students are required to take the Academic Reading/Writing test within IELTS, not the General Training Reading/Writing test). Applicants must have completed 90 credit hours (using the AMCAS methodology) prior to matriculation from an accredited four-year degree-granting US or Canadian college or university. A baccalaureate degree is not required but is strongly preferred by the Admissions Committee. Letters of Recommendation , When the application materials are complete, the Admissions Committee reviews the candidate's AMCAS application, secondary application, and letters of recommendation. I TOEFL or IELTS score reports are valid for two years and scores will be considered expired if the test was taken more than two years prior to submission of the application. Photocopies of TOEFL or IELTS Score Reports will not be considered valid. Our admissions requirements emphasize not the number of courses taken, but the level of mastery that should be achieved. Since the emphasis is on competencies, in some cases an applicant may satisfy the required competency with fewer courses.
