Research Honors (BA/BS): The Biology Research Honors distinction recognizes exceptional students who demonstrate academic excellence in their major coursework and produce original, publication-quality research. Honors candidates will: (1) develop expertise in a specialized biological area, (2) design experiments, gather and statistically analyze original data while assessing its validity, (3) contextualize their findings within their discipline, (4) document their work in an Honors Thesis, and (5) publicly present and defend their research.
