The Master of Arts in Computational Social Science is a two-year graduate program featuring a structured curriculum. Students complete 18 required and elective courses aligned with their chosen disciplinary track. During their second year, participants write an article-length MA thesis after engaging in a three-quarter research project under the guidance of faculty members. The program cultivates top social scientists across core disciplines—including economics, sociology, political science, psychology, history, and anthropology—equipping graduates with computational expertise and research skills for doctoral programs or professional contributions. Participants benefit from personalized mentorship by faculty directors and academic staff, along with comprehensive career services featuring biweekly workshops and recruitment opportunities. An optional summer practicum between academic years offers internship experiences with academic or professional organizations. International graduates qualify for three years of STEM work authorization.
Students are required to have high school equivalent of US qualification.
Applicants are required to have score of 100 or higher on the Internet-Based TOEFL or 600 or higher on the Paper-Based TOEFL. Minimum required scores on the IELTS are an overall score of 7.0, with subs cores of 7.0 each. The minimum acceptable score on the PTE is 70
