The Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies offers students diverse approaches to examining Greek and Roman civilizations while equipping them with valuable analytical and writing skills applicable to professions like education, legal practice, publishing, and broader humanities fields. Three specialized tracks cater to different academic backgrounds and aspirations: (1) The Language and Literature Track blends Greek/Latin textual analysis with interdisciplinary exploration of art, archaeology, history, philosophy, religion, and scientific thought. (2) The Language Intensive Track prioritizes linguistic mastery for extensive original text reading, particularly suited for aspiring classics graduate students. (3) The Greek and Roman Cultures Track concentrates on art history, archaeology, historical studies, material culture, and translated texts.
Study abroad programs in Athens and Rome are available, and students from other disciplines can pursue a Classical Studies minor.
Students are required to have high school equivalent of US qualification.
Applicants are required to have score of 100 or higher on the Internet-Based TOEFL or 600 or higher on the Paper-Based TOEFL. Minimum required scores on the IELTS are an overall score of 7.0, with subs cores of 7.0 each. The minimum acceptable score on the PTE is 70
