Our program provides instruction across diverse disciplines, spanning theoretical and applied biology, from molecular and genetic foundations to intricate ecosystem dynamics. As part of a leading research university, all Biological Sciences Collegiate Division courses emphasize scientific thinking, investigation, and breakthroughs. The Biological Sciences curriculum aims to provide students with: (1) knowledge of established biological principles and their experimental basis, and (2) awareness of current knowledge limitations and prospects for future discoveries. Bachelor of Arts (BA): The BA program suits students seeking comprehensive biology education while maintaining the option to pursue electives beyond the major.
