This one-year graduate program aims to motivate science and engineering students with an entrepreneurial spirit to assume leadership positions in product development within major corporations and launch innovative startups. The curriculum features a cohesive academic structure, hands-on startup initiatives, an intensive innovation component, and instruction from both university professors and seasoned entrepreneurs and investors. USC's M.S. in Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurial Engineering stands as South Carolina's sole graduate program that particularly values technically proficient students, uniquely combining engineering expertise with business acumen through an entrepreneurial approach.
Applicants must have four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, in computer engineering or computer science, from an accredited university. Students must have successfully passed: College level computer programming course in Java or C++ [CSCE 145, CSCE 146]; College level Introduction to Computer Architecture course [CSCE 212]; College level Operating Systems course [CSCE 311]; College level Algorithms and Data Structures course [CSCE 350]; Calculus I, Calculus II, Discrete Mathematics.
