The Master of Science in Data Analytics equips students with skills to create algorithms and software for extracting insights from vast datasets. This encompasses program design principles along with the technical aspects of algorithm creation. Graduates will be capable of developing and maintaining innovative software that leverages state-of-the-art computing resources.
This non-thesis curriculum offers comprehensive training in parallel computing, machine learning, data mining, and network analysis, while allowing focus on specific data analytics applications. Upon completion, graduates demonstrate both wide-ranging knowledge and specialized expertise in deriving meaningful patterns from complex data.
The 30-credit MS program features a capstone project and mandates a minimum grade of B in all coursework.

Qualification Requirements
All applicants for graduate study at the University of Central Florida must hold a U.S. bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from a regionally accredited or governmentally recognized institution of higher learning. This is the minimum requirement for admission to a graduate program at UCF. International students applying to programs requiring an outside Course-by-Course Evaluation with GPA calculation must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their official transcripts from a credential evaluation service recommended by UCF. This course-by-course evaluation must show a GPA that is equivalent to a 3.0 from an earned degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.
