The Thermofluid Aerodynamics Systems Design and Engineering specialization within the Aerospace Engineering MSAE curriculum equips students for professional engineering roles in the aerospace sector. This program covers key disciplines such as control systems, flight dynamics, fluid mechanics, propulsion technologies, heat transfer studies, and engineering design. To earn the MSAE degree, students must complete at least 30 credit hours, comprising 12 credits of core courses, 12 credits of electives from a designated course list, plus 6 additional credits that can be fulfilled through either a thesis or non-thesis pathway.

Qualification Requirements

All applicants for graduate study at the University of Central Florida must hold a U.S. bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from a regionally accredited or governmentally recognized institution of higher learning. This is the minimum requirement for admission to a graduate program at UCF. International students applying to programs requiring an outside Course-by-Course Evaluation with GPA calculation must submit a course-by-course evaluation of their official transcripts from a credential evaluation service recommended by UCF. This course-by-course evaluation must show a GPA that is equivalent to a 3.0 from an earned degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.
