Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology or another allied area. Official, competitive GRE score taken within the last five years. Evidence of successful completion of undergraduate courses in statistics and in the general area of experimental psychology. Résumé. Statement outlining the student’s academic and professional background and goals, along with career aspirations and goals. Three letters of recommendation, with at least two furnished by college or university professors who are acquainted with the applicant. Applicants should note that admission to the PhD program is competitive, and successful applicants are expected to have an outstanding academic record. Admission to the program is based upon an overall assessment of the applicant’s potential for completing it and for making significant contributions to the science and/or practice of I/O psychology. Admissions decisions are generally made by the second week in March and applicants are notified of their status shortly thereafter. Minimum UCF Requirement for TOEFL/IELTS TOEFL iBT score of 80 IELTS band score of 6.5
