The Mathematics Education specialization within the PhD in Education program equips future math educators for diverse professional paths, such as training teachers, instructing college-level mathematics, and pursuing scholarly investigations in math pedagogy.
PhD candidates in this specialization gain hands-on experience through undergraduate instruction, collaborative research with faculty, internship opportunities, and engagement with the prestigious Lockheed Martin/UCF Teaching Academy for Mathematics and Science.
