The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting is designed for students aiming to build a professional performance career after graduation. This program delivers comprehensive theater education combined with focused, intensive training across all acting disciplines. Practical production opportunities enhance classroom learning. Rooted in Stanislavski's principles alongside other effective acting techniques, the curriculum takes a natural approach to performance development. Initial studies concentrate on core acting skills: cultivating imagination, personal awareness, improvisation, vocal techniques, and physical movement. In the first two years, students also learn script interpretation, vocal performance, and dance. Advanced training shifts toward character exploration, development, and intensive scene work. Through diverse dramatic texts, students gain performance experience spanning classical to contemporary styles, including poetic drama and musical theater. The program concludes with a professional internship, allowing students to implement their training in actual industry settings. Although many graduates enter the profession directly, the BFA also serves as strong preparation for theater graduate programs. Due to the program's rigorous demands requiring significant commitment, maintaining outside employment or additional studies proves extremely difficult. The BFA maintains strict admission and continuation standards throughout the program.
