Our Master's and Doctoral programs stand at the forefront of exceptional physics research initiatives. We offer stimulating, rigorous academic courses designed to equip students for professional paths in theoretical and experimental particle physics, astrophysics, cosmology, condensed matter physics, and biophysics.
Students generally begin with a Bachelor's degree, earning their Master's en route to achieving a Ph.D., typically within five years. New students gain comprehensive foundational knowledge in core physics principles while exploring current research fields. Following successful completion of written qualifying exams, students finish required coursework before embarking on independent research projects. This research forms the foundation for advancing to doctoral candidacy, after which students focus on their dissertation. After successfully defending their dissertation, students receive their Ph.D. degree. Throughout their graduate studies, students collaborate closely with faculty members while tailoring their academic journey to their personal aspirations.
Student must have a four-year bachelor's degree at an English-speaking institution.
