Computer engineering centers on developing computer system architectures. As a Computer Engineering student, you'll master hardware development, software principles, robotics, electronic circuits, and network systems. The program provides deeper software instruction compared to electrical engineering, concentrating on fundamental software-hardware interactions, digital circuit creation, and external device connectivity. This discipline spans numerous specialties including computing systems, automation, telecommunications, electronics, data processing, electromagnetic fields, optoelectronics, and semiconductor device manufacturing. Like other engineering fields, it integrates mathematical and scientific knowledge with core engineering concepts to invent, model, analyze, and deploy technological solutions that advance society.
You are considered a freshman applicant if you have completed secondary school and have not enrolled at any college or university.
