Engineering students pursuing a BS in Computer Science can enhance their education by adding a minor or second major, demonstrating diverse academic interests. Those enrolled in the Computer Science program may apply to combine their degree with a second major from Letters and Science or the College of Creative Studies. However, dual majors within the College of Engineering are not permitted. Freshmen at UCSB must finish all degree requirements within 15 academic quarters, while transfer students entering as juniors must complete both their Computer Science degree and additional major within 9 quarters. This policy has no exceptions.
You are considered a freshman applicant if you have completed secondary school and have not enrolled at any college or university.
