The Bachelor of Arts in Geography offers students a diverse and thorough introduction to all key study areas and principal academic methodologies within geography - the science examining Earth as humanity's habitat. This program covers Earth's physical systems, such as climate, oceans, landforms, water bodies, and ecosystems, alongside human dimensions including culture, social structures, demographics, and economic systems. Students will also learn geographic data applications through cartography, remote sensing, statistical analysis, and GIS technology. Among the department's degree options, the B.A. specifically encourages broad exploration across geography's interdisciplinary fields and their interconnected relationships.
You are considered a freshman applicant if you have completed secondary school and have not enrolled at any college or university.
English Language Proficiency
The minimum accepted score for admission consideration for the TOEFL is 80 or better on the Internet-based test and 550 or better on the paper-based test.
The minimum accepted score for the IELTS is 6.5 or better band score (academic modules).
