Pursuing an Economics and Accounting degree allows you to explore both disciplines simultaneously. This curriculum focuses on mastering fundamental accounting concepts - the systematic approach to examining and handling financial information for organizations and government entities. With more than 2,000 undergraduates, the Economics Department provides two bachelor's degree options: Economics (BA) and Economics & Accounting (BA). Both programs equip students with comprehensive knowledge of economic principles, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving techniques applicable across diverse professional sectors. The Economics & Accounting track further includes specialized coursework in accounting and financial management to ready graduates for CPA certification.
You are considered a freshman applicant if you have completed secondary school and have not enrolled at any college or university.
English Language Proficiency
The minimum accepted score for admission consideration for the TOEFL is 80 or better on the Internet-based test and 550 or better on the paper-based test.
The minimum accepted score for the IELTS is 6.5 or better band score (academic modules).
