The mathematics department provides an extensive selection of courses in both theoretical and practical mathematics, catering to its majors as well as students from other fields. Seven BS degree options are available: mathematics, applied mathematics, mathematics-computer science, a combined mathematics and economics major, mathematics-scientific computation, mathematics-applied science with probability and statistics, along with one BA program in mathematics-secondary education.
