The Geophysics and Space Physics program provides research opportunities in Earth's internal structure (seismic activity, gravitational forces, heat distribution, magnetic fields, and plate movements), fluid dynamics in geophysical contexts (chaotic flows, rotational effects, equilibrium states, and magnetic fluid interactions), complex systems behavior, planetary science (celestial mechanics, planetary composition, surface features and atmospheric conditions, solar system formation), and space environment studies (Earth's magnetic shield, energetic particle zones, solar emissions, interstellar magnetism, high-energy particles).
