The Higher Education & Organizational Change (HEOC) graduate program equips students with knowledge of the historical, political, social, and philosophical factors influencing higher education. These programs cater to individuals pursuing careers in academic research and teaching, higher education administration (including student services, academic departments, or institutional leadership), or policy/research organizations.

HEOC provides three degree options: research-oriented M.A. and Ph.D. programs, plus a one-year M.Ed. in Student Affairs. This cohort-based Ed.M. program prepares emerging professionals with essential skills, knowledge, and a social justice framework covering student development theory, higher education fundamentals, student affairs management, and research methodologies.
