The BS Prelicensure program equips students with the skills needed for professional nursing careers. This four-year undergraduate program starts in the first year, with limited spots available for transfer students each year. Upon graduation, students qualify to take the NCLEX for registered nurse (R.N.) licensure and can pursue California's Public Health Nursing Certificate. Recognized as a UCLA-certified capstone major, the program culminates in a fourth-year clinical course where students develop and execute a Scholarly Project aimed at enhancing patient and family care systems.

Graduates of the BS program also gain the academic groundwork to pursue master's degrees, preparing them for advanced nursing roles like nurse practitioners, clinical specialists, and healthcare administrators in both primary and acute care settings.
