The Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) program delivers concentrated, advanced training to equip graduates for careers in accounting firms, private businesses, or public/nonprofit sectors. When paired with an undergraduate accounting background, this program fulfills the educational requirements set by California's Board of Accountancy for CPA licensure. Designed as a self-funded, standalone master's degree, it incorporates an optional one-quarter internship. Students can pursue this program either full-time in one year or part-time over two years.
Graduates will gain essential skills to address core and strategic accounting challenges. The curriculum emphasizes applying analytical reasoning and standard accounting practices to organizational auditing and accountability matters. Courses are grounded in professional ethics and conduct standards.
