Suitable undergraduate majors span multiple disciplines, including psychology, political science, business administration, mathematics, computer science, economics, and sociology. Applicants from unconventional fields like natural sciences, humanities, or arts are also encouraged. The program develops scholars for teaching and research positions across management specialties such as organizational behavior, strategic management, operations research, information systems, finance, accounting, and marketing. Ph.D. candidates must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of management fundamentals, develop advanced research capabilities, and successfully defend an original dissertation.
