The Teaching, Learning, and Educational Improvement initiative explores the interconnected relationship between learners and their learning environments. Scholars and students utilize cognitive, socio-cultural, anthropological, and subject-specific research approaches to enhance learning theories and establish evidence-based methods for educational enhancement across disciplines like STEM, language arts, and literacy. Focusing on both individual learners and their surroundings, we examine educational processes in classrooms, community settings, and digital platforms through methodologies including case studies, implementation research, academic-practice collaborations, learning assessments, and data analysis techniques. A key emphasis lies in understanding how social factors, cultural contexts, and educational systems either facilitate or hinder learning experiences for diverse populations, while also investigating how innovative teaching approaches can help reduce educational disparities.
