The Mathematics Department provides a Bachelor of Science degree. This program features six distinct pathways: a standard track along with five focused specializations (Mathematical Biology, Mathematical Finance, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Mathematics for Education, and Mathematics for Education with Secondary Teaching Certification). Students can also pursue minors in Mathematics or Mathematics for Biology. The undergraduate curriculum includes various course types: foundational classes for advanced mathematics, exact sciences, and engineering; courses tailored for social and biological science majors; and classes for liberal arts students and future educators. An Honors Program is available for students considering graduate studies in mathematics.
